Abstract
The objective of this study is to clarify temporal changes in water properties of abyssal water in the western North Pacific by means of moored CTD/O2 observations. The time series data will be used to evaluate sampling error caused by short-term temperature fluctuation for the estimation of bottom water warming in recent decades derived from land-to-land repeat hydrographic data, and to monitor long-term fluctuation of water properties of the abyssal water.
