Summary
The present invention is a micromill capable of cutting a minute region of a sample such as rock with high accuracy provided for research analysis. It has the following structure.
1) A stage having a sample mounting surface.
2) A rotary cutting drill which is provided above the stage and cuts the sample held on the sample mounting surface of the stage.
3) A moving mechanism that relatively moves both the stage and the rotary cutting drill in the separation/contact direction.
4) A magnifying glass that allows you to visually confirm the cutting site.
In particular, since the rotary cutting drill is capable of adjusting the inclination angle of its rotating shaft with respect to the sample mounting surface, it is possible to collect only a desired minute area and prevent sample mixing in areas other than the desired area.
