A cast pressure vessel with good corrosion resistance and low cost, which can be used in all fields (ocean, aviation, power generation, chemical industry, etc.)
Summary
It is a method of inexpensively producing a pressure resistant container using a metal (for example, Ti) having good corrosion resistance by casting, and has the following configuration.
1) The pressure vessel includes a cast vessel side body having a convex cap portion as a component.
2) The cap portion has a sprue portion at the top and a cap end portion downstream of the sprue portion.
3) The sprue part has a vessel mounting surface and a through hole penetrating the inside of the vessel side body from the vessel mounting surface.
4) The design of the pressure vessel is such that when the sprue wall thickness around the cap is tM (mm) and the cap end wall thickness is tm (mm), tm>=4 and the thickness reduction ratio tM/tm 1=<tM/tm.
By casting under the above conditions, it is possible to improve the fluidity of the molten metal with respect to the standing wall portion, the skirt portion, and the entire circumference of the flange in the vessel side body. Further, even when the molten metal is solidified, the quality of the vessel side body can be maintained by promoting solidification from the skirt or the flange portion of the vessel side body (directional solidification).
