MIRAI MR16-06 HPLC Phytoplankton pigment concentration

Concentrations of phytoplanlton pigment were sampled in the subsurface layer. Filter samples were stored in a deep-freezer (-80ÂșC) until analysis on land. Pigments were extracted following to a method described in Suzuki et al., (2005). Concentrations of phytolpankton pigment were determined by a method of Van Heukelem et al. (2001).
