    As presented above, the drift rate for temperature is calculated from pre and post calibrations as -0.00045 degrees-C/year. Hypothesizing the linearity in T-sensor drift, the error of water temperature is tried to estimate using the drift rate.
    From pre-calibration date, 06 Sep.,2002 until the last day of MR02-K06 Leg2 on 12 Jan.,2003, it takes about 0.35 year. Then the error of water temperature data observed by CTD is estimated as -0.0002 degrees-C for the cruise of MR02-K06 Leg2.

    Comparison between salinity data measured with TSG and that measured with salinometer is presented in the following table and figure. Water for salinometer is sampled from bypass line of TSG. Salinometer used for this analysis is Autosal model 8400B manufactured by Guildline Instruments Inc.
