Environmental baseline data in abyssal plain off Minami Torishima based on 18S rRNA gene obtained from the 2022 cruise
Abstract
SIP Ocean program conducted the research cruises for technical development and data collection of baseline condition in deep-sea environments off Minami Torishima. This data set contains 18S rRNA gene based phylogenetic composition of meiofauna community determined from sediment core samples which have been collected by the Shinkai 6500 in the 2022 cruise of R/V Yokosuka (YK22-08C). The two kinds of PCR primer set have been used for the same sample to compare the phylogenetic composition.
