Abstract

This dataset contains occurrence records of sea cucumbers (Holothuroidea) obtained from field surveys conducted by walking and snorkeling in coral reef environments across 17 islands in the Ryukyu Archipelago, Japan, between 2022 and 2026. The dataset includes georeferenced occurrence records, species identifications, individual counts, survey event information, and survey effort data (survey distance and duration), organized according to the Darwin Core standard.
