Over view
General
The tube is thin and with obvious growth collars in anterior half. The tube length and width of top funnel reach 120 mm and 3 mm, respectively. The flimsy obturaculum is V-shaped in transverse section with broad dorsal groove and prominent ventral ridge and with 6-8 pairs of branchial lamellae and additional single ventral unpaired lamella. The anterior margin of vestimentum is broad and posterior margin is not incised. This species was found in the hydrothermal vent at the Brothers Caldera, the Kermadec Arc, South Pacific at 1,598 m depth (Miura & Kojima, 2006).
