E-library of Deep-sea Images, JAMSTEC - Biological Information System for Marine Life

Abstract

The Global Oceanographic Data Center (GODAC), Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) holds and manages the data of valuable deep sea research videos and photos which were obtained by JAMSTEC submersibles and make them available to the public through the database, "JAMSTEC E-library of Deep-sea Images". This dataset is compiled from observational records of deep-sea organisms in videos provided from the JAMSTEC-E-library of Deep-sea Images.
