- The dataset of "A literature review of the marine annelids of the Ryukyu Islands: still at the “early-bird” stage" has been published on BISMaL.
This dataset was generated based on the results of a review of 149 existing research studies.

- The dataset of "Okinawa Turtle Archive: An archive project documenting sea turtle identification and behavior through drone footage" has been published on BISMaL.
This dataset includes occurrence records of sea turtles, collected from drone footage in the coastal waters of Maeda, Onna Village from March to October 2025.
The drone footage is available on "Okinawa Turtle Archive" (https://umigame.ogaworks.com/).

- Two new datasets have been published on BISMaL:
"Marine fish data in the coastal area of Yokohama City."
"Marine seagrasses and seaweeds data in the coastal area of Yokohama City."
These datasets are generated from the publications of "Yokohama's rivers and sea creatures (in Japanese)" by the Yokohama Environmental Science Research Institute.

- New data (678 records) have been added to the dataset "Marine Biological Sample Database, JAMSTEC".
This dataset contains data of biological samples which were collected during scientific missions of JAMSTEC ships (NATSUSHIMA, KAIYO, YOKOSUKA, KAIREI and MIRAI) and submersibles.

- The dataset of "A photographically-vouchered global citizen science dataset of sea slugs (Mollusca: Heterobranchia) from the SEASLUG.WORLD platform since 2015" has been published on BISMaL.
This dataset includes occurrence records on sea slugs (Heterobranchia), collected from divers worldwide via the online platform "Sekai no Umiushi" (https://seaslug.world/) since 2015.
