- The dataset of "Ibaraki Nature Museum, Fish collection" has been published on BISMaL. It contains approximately 5,000 occurrence records of fish collected in Japan and overseas.

- The dataset of "Simultaneous surveys of littoral organisms in Osaka Bay in 2025" has been published on BISMaL.
The dataset is the result of the survey conducted by the Osaka Bay Environmental Restoration Liaison Committee in cooperation with groups working along the Osaka Bay. This dataset is from the survey results conducted in 2025.

- The dataset of "A literature review of the marine annelids of the Ryukyu Islands: still at the “early-bird” stage" has been published on BISMaL.
This dataset was generated based on the results of a review of 149 existing research studies.

- The dataset of "Okinawa Turtle Archive: An archive project documenting sea turtle identification and behavior through drone footage" has been published on BISMaL.
This dataset includes occurrence records of sea turtles, collected from drone footage in the coastal waters of Maeda, Onna Village from March to October 2025.
The drone footage is available on "Okinawa Turtle Archive" (https://umigame.ogaworks.com/).

- Two new datasets have been published on BISMaL:
"Marine fish data in the coastal area of Yokohama City."
"Marine seagrasses and seaweeds data in the coastal area of Yokohama City."
These datasets are generated from the publications of "Yokohama's rivers and sea creatures (in Japanese)" by the Yokohama Environmental Science Research Institute.
